This is my own designed Hanze Yawl.She measures 19′6″ x 6′ and was designed in a 3 day class lofting some years ago.In a 9 day course epoxy/plywood I have made 2 of them. One is now finished by students at the Amsterdam Wood & Furniture College and will soon be on the water.
MAE DAY is a 17ft Northeastern Dory Sailboat kit purchased from from Chesapeake Light Craft in Annapolis, Md. This was my first experience building and owning a boat. CLC guided me through the entire process with excellent customer support.
HOLIDAY has been family owned since launched in July 1946. My grandfather, Rex Bartlett, commissioned Ed Monk Sr. to design her and she was built on Lake Union by the Edison Technical School. Jim Chambers, who ran the school along with Earl Wakefield and Vic Franck, also worked on building her.
