FOR SALE - 1969, 26’ Lyman Picnic Launch – Georgian Grace

Available for $36,000 USD or $50,000 CAD. This 26’ Lyman has been owned by the present owner since 2002. Over this time, she has gone through two retrofits, one minor in 2002 and the second a major in 2018. The 327cc Crusader 250-hp engine was overhauled in 2015 at 806 hours and now has just over 1,000 hours. A typical season for the Georgian Grace begins in late June to the end of September after which she is winterized, stored in an enclosed shed and covered by a tarp. The boat is in top shape and runs well with many upgrades - the floorboards and the countertop were replaced with Teak and Holly, the bow stem, some planks (top-sides), half the transom, parts of the deck, gunwales were all replaced. Top-sides painted with Pettit EZ-Pox, bottom coated in BottomKote antifouling, deck painted with Pettit Non-skid, bright work using Epifanes varnish, floorboards stained with Woodmate teak non-slip and cuddy in bow flat mildew resistant Interlux paint. The Georgian Grace has spent her whole life in Pointe au Baril, Ontario on the Georgian Bay with a total of 3 owners over that time. Each owner has been a boater and has cared for this Lyman to preserve her for future cruises. This boat is the best example of its type and is ready to cruise the waterways, comes with a 10” Garmin GPS unit, upgraded navigation lights, 50-gallon gas tank (refurbed), complete cover with side curtains, windshield wiper, hydraulic trim tabs, VHS radio, gages for RPM, battery, oil pressure, temperature and a swim platform with ladder. There are many pics available, both on the water and during the retrofit. Contact: Cam at bcr6832@gmail.com
