"MERRYWING"

A 39' sloop designed & built by Bud McIntosh in 1962. She is the featured boat in Bud's classic book "How to Build a Wooden Boat." Mahogany on oak & apitong frames, lead ballast keel. Mainsail and 4 jibs in good/ very good condition. Hollow spruce mast with recent Awlgrip. New standing rigging and lifelines in 2023. Yanmar 3HM35(F). Lots of original bronze hardware. Located in Long Beach, CA. A beautiful boat. Her sister boat is featured in WoodenBoat issue 273, article by Randall Peffer.
