Classic 1948 19-foot Hurricane designed by Philip Rhodes

Own a beautiful and fast piece of nautical history. Gorgeous molded wood sloop in racing condition, mahogany woodwork, fiberglass exterior, racing finish bottom, elegant custom-made seats.
Boat, sails, and hardware were upgraded in 2006 as per specifications for Rhodes 19; Doyle racing mainsail and jib with windows in very good condition; fantastic in light wind and a heavy stiff breeze; tapered aluminum mast with adjustable backstay – great upwind performance; jib full down low on foredeck to eliminate slot effect; excellent boom vang; masthead wind indicator; Harken hardware; original mahogany rudder; new maple tiller with extension; original mahogany transom stern.
Lots of extras including: boom tent cover (custom-made by Sailor’s Tailor); whisker pole; boat hook; fenders; extra lines; new Danforth anchor chain and line; large mooring ball with chain, anchor line, galvanized shackles, and mooring pendant; safety/swim ladder; four throw Type IV PFDs that can double as seat cushions; Garmin GPS (measure speed on water).
Torqeedo Travel 1003 S/L (electric motor) – virtually new - used 12 hours; 2 waterproof bags Sea to Summit, 20L) for storing battery and motor tiller handle; custom-made bag for carrying or storing motor; attractive brass and wood motor bracket (easily removed in seconds from transom).
International trailer – 2 new wheels and tires.
