If we have to base ourselves on market demand before 2008, the two daysailers that we propose are very small. At that time, generally characterized by a continuous increase in boat size, it seemed as though a daysailer could not be less than 12 m, (even better if it exceeded 15 m).

Construction — Glued lapstrake clinker plywood. No Lofting required. Plans include 5 sheets with instructions. Sail Area — Lug 83 sq. ft. Sloop 95 sq. ft.

Like many traditional canoes, the Sassafras 16 is symmetrical, bow and stern. This allows a solo paddler to sit facing backwards on the forward seat for better trim. An elegant lapstrake canoe for two

Kahuna is a superb coastal and long-distance cruising boat, designed for modern wood/epoxy construction. The first boat was built in Australia, and several have been launched in the US. Others are under construction — in the US (New York) and in Europe (Italy, the UK and Russia).

The Sparrow Hawk is proportionally downsized for the smaller paddler.

This rugged and able outboard-powered dory combines beauty with practicality and is easy to build.

Construction: Plywood planking over sawn frames.

Lofting is required.

MEDITERRANEAN 45 - Sport boat.

This is a simple 8ft stitch and glue sail/row pram. It requires only 3 sheets of marine plywood and should be very fast, easy, and inexpensive to build. It should end up just over 80lb so easy to transport as well.
