Sailboats - Racing

FALCO

An uncompromised high-performance package for half the cost of its “off the shelf” equivalent. It will satisfy both the skilled woodworker looking for a rewarding project, as the discriminating skiff sailor.A more “traditional” ( skin on stringer & frames) building technique combined with a stripped plank bottom results in a very light weight hull without compromising its hull shape for hydrdynamic efficiency. This allows the boat to plane upwind in just 10 knts of wind. The main sail is a custom high aspect design, but the mast and spinaker are readily available from well established classes, lowering the cost further if used parts are bought. The “from scratch” package includes:

  • 22 detailed construction diagrams
  • a condensed ( 3 pages ) explanatory construction notes paper
  • and CNC files for the stations molds and a few panels

Boats are also avilable in various stage of completion.Complete or partial kits are available from CCI (competion composites inc.)
