OLD TOWN HW CANOE

This 1922 17' Old Town canoe was restored by Dave Millikan of Inverness, FL. It is Model HW, Grade CS, Serial No. 67358, and had been delivered to Abraham and Strauss back in 1922. Dave found it in storage in the Adirondacks in 2001. He was able to save the original wood except for the outwales, which he replaced with new ones from Old Town Canoe. He faired the outside with WEST epoxy and fillers then covered the hull with aircraft Dacron cloth. Dave relaunched the boat June 20, 2002 at Seventh Lake Inlet in upstate NY. Contact Dave at 5305 East Hopp Lane, Inverness, FL 34452-8336 or email him at N11DM@netsignia.net.
