HIGH TIME

HIGH TIME, an original Alden Indian, was relaunched at Bittersweet Landing Boatyard at the Gut in South Bristol, Maine, on June 23, 2014. The boat, designed in 1921 for the John G. Alden yacht design firm, is a 21-foot centerboard sloop that was in regular use until the 1980s, when she capsized in a storm and split open her seams. After two decades wasting in a boathouse, she was lovingly and thoroughly restored by apprentices at the Carpenter's Boat Shop in Pemaquid, Maine.
