MERLIN

After reading Geoff Kerr’s article about the W17 folding/trailerable trimaran in WoodenBoat Magazine #254 I was immediately interested and went to see and sail one. That totally convinced me she was the boat for me and after 2 years part time, I’ve finally launched Merlin and got in a little sailing at the end of last year. Here she is, complete with her carbon fiber wing mast that I was also able to build from the designer’s plans. I am thrilled with her.
