Cradle Boat

John Jamieson worked for decades as a shipwright in Juneau, Alaska, before retiring to Kila, Montana. He now builds skiffs, kayaks, drift boats, and, with the arrival of a niece, cradle boats. He considers this a working skiff rather than a yacht as he built it from common lumberyard materials and paint. John hopes it will carry more than a few little sailors on their first voyage. He ordered plans from Jordan Wood Boats in South Beach, Oregon.
