AECHMÉA

Two weeks ago we launched a “périssoire” built with plans from François Sergent, a french naval architect, during la fête du nautisme at the lake of Eguzon. These plans were published in 1944 in a book called : construction de canoes et kayaks.This boat has been built in France, near Chateauroux. The builder is Emmanuel Alassoeur, who is also member of les poissons des arbres, an association of bateaux bois et canotage.Some photos of the buiding can be found on the blog : lespoissonsdesarbres.blogspot.com.length on deck : 4,25 m beam : 0,60 m place of intended use : small rivers (l'indre, la creuse, la vienne, la loire) and very small rivers.
