M80

M80, is a simple to build plywood trailable trimaran, plans are very complete and include DXF files for CNC cutting.A standard folding system is used to faciltate trailing by road at a folded width of 2450mm.The interior consists of two wing berths 2000 x 600 a single up forward 1900 x 700 with room for a chemical toilet.Aft of the wing berths to port is a small galley and storage space to starboard.Standing headroom under the main hatch is 1750 mm. the optional poptop provides full head room.A good sized cockpit of 2500 long is completely open while at anchor with the mainsheet track removed ans stowed.Auxiliary power is from a single 6 - 9.9 HP. Outboard motor.M80 has a kick up rudder with adequate depth for steerage in light weather and a single daggerboard in the main hull.Options on the drawing board at the moment include a smaller cuddy type cabin with an extended cockpit, electric propulsion, and a central cockpit.Plans are currently $AUD 500.00 including the DXF files, the price is valid until early 2014.If the builder wishes the plans are available for building in, Duracore, Duflex or foam sandwich.
