THOR
THOR is a Rhodes 29 designed in 1955 by Philip L. Rhodes and built by Abeking & Rasmussen in Lemwerder, Germany. She was commissioned by A. Edward Thurber, Jr. of Long Island, NY.
THOR has spent most of her life in Long Island and New England, with a brief period in Nassau, Bahamas. After a 37 year hiatus THOR is back in Thurber family stewardship as of 2019.
Construction: Double planked in teak with oak frames. Teak and mahogany topsides.
