LI’L LADY

In the winter of 2006-7, I organized a group of sailors from Crescent Yacht Club in Chaumont, NY to build a fleet of 15 Shellback dinghies to the design by Joel White. The plans were obtained from WoodenBoat. The boats were built in the maintenance shop of the Antique Boat Museum in Clayton, NY and one of the boats was donated to ABM. We have since initiated an annual regatta between the fleet we built and the original Shellback fleet in Brooklin, Maine. My own boat was the first one built and is called Li’l Lady.
