CARMEN

A traditional Galician boat, characteristic of the estuary of Muros, but extends to the coast of Death the north and towards the river Miño.

It is considered an evolution of the boat, although smaller size of 4 to 6 meters. It has two sterns, hampering their survival in the appearance of the engine. Its narrow sleeve sets a very suitable for rowing.

It is used for the hull construction to stop. It observes a strict symmetry between the bow and the stern, since the first is higher and released. Very lightweight, the lack of coverage, hallway and tilla. In addition, the wood pieces are thinner than other boats. Used for oak ribs and keel, and pine from the other pieces.

You can also sail hammer or bolt rope. In the first case, the right and below the lintel and vice versa.
