BESAME

My first boat and one I have enjoyed for almost ten years. Built over a year and a half, it was launched in 2005. It has provided many a nice night of quiet rowing on the Glenmore Reservoir in Calgary. It is a Cosine Wherry hull with a non traditional and lighter interior finishing. The hull is red and white cedar, the gunwales are white ash, and the remainder is cherry. The Piantedosi RowWing provides me with exercise. The name comes from the demonstrative conjugation of the spanish verb “to kiss”. Translated it means “Kiss Me”. Of course with a name like that, the boat has a seat for my wife.
