William Garden designed Eel, built in 2000 by Gordon Swift (WB 169) for Davis Hammond and his home in Boca Grande Fl. Strip construction, Spanish cedar hull, Black Locust keel, stems and floor timbers. We purchased the boat in February 2014. The shoal draft and the open cuddy cabin make this a great boat for the west coast of Florida.
