Spirit of the Lake Regatta: Wherry Class

2014: Saturday, August 23 – Grand Lake’s Annual Brews & Crews Weekend

The Spirit of the Lake is a staggered start exhibition Head Race and Colorado River Headwaters Conservation fundraiser. This event is open to: Rowers, Kayakers, Canoeists and SUPers, with separate starts for each division. Additionally, 2014 will mark the second year of the traditional Wherry Class race.

Following the race, enjoy the Grand Lake BrewFest and taste craft Colorado Beers! This year’s BrewFest will be held on Lake Avenue, next to the Regatta venue.

Grand Lake is set in the Rocky Mountains, and is the western gateway to the Rocky Mountain National Park.
