Sea Scout Ship 5 Breakfast Fundraiser

Navesink Maritime Heritage Association is pleased to announce that the Crew of Sea Scout Ship #5 invites the public to a Fundraising Breakfast at Monmouth Boat Club on Sunday, December 2nd from 10 a.m. until 12:45 p.m.

Sea Scout Ship #5, part of Scouting in America, is for male and female crew members age 14 to 21. The ship operates out of Monmouth Boat Club in Red Bank and has various boating, and maritime activities during the spring and summer. In the winter it meets at Monmouth Boat Club on Sunday afternoons to learn and improve nautical skills and earn badges. Ship #5 has also offered a way into maritime colleges for several of its past crew members.

Sea Scout Ship #5 welcomes all youth with an interest in maritime activities. Come to the Breakfast, meet the Crew and Skipper, and see if sea scouting is for you.
