Rooster Week, 2021

-

Rooster Week, 2021 is a sailing event held in Jamestown, Rhode Island for builders and sailors of Rooster Class Sailboats.
While open to anyone, this event is focused on the Rooster Class sailors and sailboats of Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island.

Depending on wind, weather and tides, sailing occurs every afternoon, and meet-up times will be announced the evening before.

Sailing is relaxed and un-hurried. Occasionally informal "races" may be added for a bit of friendly competition (out to a buoy, and back, or out to and around the moored sailboat and back, etc.).

So, if you grew up sailing these boats along Narragansett Bay and want to re-live the excitement, come on out to the east coast in mid-July and join in the fun.

Lodging, facilities, meals, and transportation are at your own expense.

Currently, there are 11 Rooster sailboats (3 from Texas, 1 from Oklahoma, 1 from Maine, and 6 from Rhode Island.
