Les Cheneaux Islands Antique Wooden Boat Show, Hessel, MI

The difficult decision has been made to cancel the Les Cheneaux Islands Antique Wooden Boat Show for 2020. Our decision was made due to social distancing requirements and other Covid-19 issues. Our boat registrants, show attendees and 300 dedicated volunteers need to feel safe and comfortable at our show and there are no assurances at present that the social distancing requirements of this pandemic will be eased by August.

It was a tough decision because our Les Cheneaux community and our sponsor, Les Cheneaux Historical Association, directly benefit from the Antique Boat Show. If you have plans to visit our islands, please do! We live in a pristine area and there is much to enjoy with wonderful sheltered-area boating, beautiful beaches and great fishing. Our resorts and businesses are open for your up-north experience. Just remember to practice safe "social distancing."

Our 2020 Showcase was Lapstrake Boats. We are now looking forward to featuring them in our 2021 show. Please mark your calendar for the 43rd annual Les Cheneaux Islands Antique Wooden Boat Show which will be held on August 14, 2021. Our show is always the second Saturday in August! (except this year)
