The Great San Francisco Schooner Race

The schooner was California's dominant commercial watercraft in the late 19th and early 20th centuries when they moved passengers and cargo along the coast and inland waterways. This race was started to honor California's maritime heritage and to increase the profile of the schooners and those who own, maintain, love, and appreciate them.
