Annual Shipwreck Weekend

The Institute of Nautical Archaeology (INA) and the Nautical Archaeology Program (NAP) at Texas A&M University will host Shipwreck Weekend on Saturday, April 18th. 

Dr. John Hale (University of Louisville), author of “Lords of the Sea” (2010) will deliver a lecture on ancient Greek triremes at 10:30 a.m. Hale’s lecture will be followed by research presentations by NAP graduate students, hands-on demonstrations, and guided tours of the NAP laboratories.

Visitors can shop discounted INA merchandise and pick up free offprints. If you plan to be in College Station, please join us for this free event open to the public!
