NEW! Ronan Kayak Kit
The New Ronan is a direct inspiration from our recently released Selkie design. When we came out with the Selkie we knew her sweeping lines would draw admiring stares, and we predicted petite paddlers would love that they finally had a boat designed specifically for them.
Selkie Kayak Kit
The Selkie takes two of our most popular boats (The Arctic Tern 14 and the Murrelet) and marries them into one elegant, light weight boat that petite women, or those looking for a tight fitting play boat, will love.
Kaholo Stand-Up Paddleboard
Allen Kay and his sons (Colin on left, Ian on right) finished a 14′ Kaholo just in time for a short paddle in Maryland before hauling it to Lake Megunticook in Maine for two weeks to put it through its paces. “They love it,” Allen says.
SOLATE
Kyle Abingdon and Maris Skabardis recently restored SOLATE, a 1954 Scarborough sloop designed by John Ley. The team worked part-time on this boat for about two years.
MUSAFIR
Traditional wooden dhow, Lamu style, built in Kenya. Double masted, est. 100 tons cargo capacity. The construction was executed with local material, chosen in the traditional way, tree by tree, shaped by a chainsaw in the boatyard and installed using 8″ square shanked copper nails.
Ashes Solo Day
The Solo Day is simple. She’s light, easily carried, and not for the fussy. Best results will be obtained if the builder can curtail the urge to use fancy marquetry, or exotic woods.
