BESAME
My first boat and one I have enjoyed for almost ten years. Built over a year and a half, it was launched in 2005. It has provided many a nice night of quiet rowing on the Glenmore Reservoir in Calgary. It is a Cosine Wherry hull with a non traditional and lighter interior finishing.
MsBHaven
Don Bishop of Sanibel Island, Florida, designed and built this trailerable 22′-6″ Gaff cutter to explore America’s coasts and to cruise the Bahamas. The composite 800 lb. lead/glass swing keel provides 18″ and 5′-5″ draft. The hull is cedar strip and glass.
TASHTEGO
TASHTEGO is a Caledonia Yawl built in 2012 by Tom and Susanne Regan at Grapeview Point Boat Works in Washington. She is owned by Irv Mac Dowell and Kathy Krepcio of Princeton, NJ and is homeported in Stonington, CT.
Romany 34 sailing catamaran
This is a larger version of my 28ft Gypsy sailing catamaran and is a 34′ offshore cruiser. It has essentially the same cuddy as Gypsy as that has proven a comfortable size for a couple and occasional guests.
Janus sailing catamaran
Janus is a 4 berth trailable sailing catamaran built in sheet plywood. However, don’t be deceived by Janus’ simple dory shaped hulls (which make it a very easy boat to build). It has a lot of internal room for its length and a surprisingly good performance.
Strike 18 sailing trimaran
The 18ft STRIKE is a sailing trimaran design that uses a 16ft beach cat as the outriggers/amas and rig. The main hull is plywood and has a dory shape that is extremely easy to build.
CHE'LU
My name is Mario Borja, aka Sakman Mario. I am a Chamorro from the Mariana Island of Saipan. I am the lead carver on the building of the ancient “flying proa” of the Marianas right here in El Cajon, CA.
ANGRA PEQUENA
Angra Pequena is a 72 ft (99 ton) purpose-designed and equipped expedition ship offering a unique platform for marine research, scientific training and conservation.
