DRAGONFLY

This is a Chesapeake Light Craft Petrel SG sea kayak. Construction is stitch and glue, fiberglass over stained Okuome ply. Custom changes to the kit included the soft pad eyes, dragonfly inlay, a carved skeg control housing and turned carrying toggles and paddle bead.

AKHILANDESHVARI

The Akhilandeshvari (Akhila) is a 16.5 foot Mill Creek tandem kayak built from a Chesapeake Light Craft kit. Construction began on August 17th, 2013 and was completed in mid July 2014 with a break from Thanksgiving to late March due to temperature concerns in the workshop.

Kisen, an International 5.5m Class yacht was relaunched for her 60th anniversary in May 2014 after having undergone a 4 year long thorough renovation by the owners during 2008 - 2012 and surviving a near-catastrophic yard fire that destroyed all her sails and equipment in 2013.

Relaunched after nearly 30 years. The boat has been refinished, the engine has been thoroughly serviced and a fuel pump added. What a sweet little boat, they just don't build them like this anymore. The hull is molded birch and as sound as new.

She is a Big Ben Garvey designed by Doug Hylan. A wedding gift for my younger daughter and her husband Casey and Joe Bedard she was only about two years late but the new owners love it. She is epoxy/fiberglass over fir plywood with a simple painted finish and unfinished red cedar floorboards.
