The classical hull shape of old wooden runabouts of the 70’s combines perfectly well with the use of marine plywood. This allows SILVER 55 to be in the same time elegant and simple to build.

Roberts 434 Wood Epoxy Sailboat

New Lion 800 is a continuation of a series of plywood yacht designed by the company Unik Yachts.

The main idea of a series of yachts Lion is to maximize the manufacturability of the design and the ability to self-built yacht from a kit of parts cut on the CNC machine.

This runabout reveals the influence of Zimmer’s association with John Hacker, and will require expert boatbuilders.Construction: Batten-seam planking over sawn frames.Lofting is required.Plans include 4 sheets.

600 Lion Yacht project despite its small size, has a spacious interior, and allows you to comfortably make trips to the inland waters and coastal seas.

This design was inspired by Ross Lillistone’s “Water Rat”. The bow transom was replaced by a pointed stem. Also the internal volume and from there the displacement of the boat were increased by about 20%. Changes were made to the seating arrangement as well.
