Sherpa

Designed as a tender to a yacht with five adult berths, the owner wished to be able to ferry the entire crew ashore in one trip but had only a limited space in which to stow the dinghy.Sherpa carries up to half a ton in sheltered waters, rows, sails and motors well.  She sails well enoungh under the standard rig to be fun, and has an optional rig for those who wish to have more performance.  She will sail with two adults, and is a particularly good trainer for one adult and one or two children. Many Sherpas have been used as fishing boats, or when carried on a light trailer for exploring far off and inacessible waters.  This is a boat which performs like a ship much larger than her 9ft length.
