Sailboats - Cruising

Kahuna

Kahuna is a superb coastal and long-distance cruising boat, designed for modern wood/epoxy construction. The first boat was built in Australia, and several have been launched in the US. Others are under construction — in the US (New York) and in Europe (Italy, the UK and Russia).

Kahuna is a very comfortable boat. She stiff and fast under sail, and an excellent choice for extended coastal or offshore sailing.

Construction features carvel planking with steam bent or sawn frames or strip planking with optional cold molded or fiberglass overlay.

Different interior layouts are offered, and both gaff and Bermudan rigs. She carries 100 gallons of water, 80 of fuel, and is an excellent liveaboard boat.
