Haka 140

Haka 140 is the one-off version of the lovely Orion 46 for strip planking construction.
She was built as a twin rudder centreboarder but the Lerouge Twin Keel System is now available.

Her cutter rig is well suited to short handed ocean passages.

The flush-deck is extremely strong and easy to built. It gives a really attractive profile and its clean deck layout is a joy for sail handling, sunbathing or to inflate the dinghy.

Different interior layouts were designed to suit each program.

The large cockpit is completed by a bathing platform.

An electric engine is favoured for self-sufficiency while voyaging. It can be used under sail as a water generator in complement of a wind and solar generators at anchor. A diesel outboard is an alternative well suited to a centreboarder to eliminate propeller drag and to improve handling with the board raised.
