PRISCILLA C
PRISCILLA C is a small steam launch based on a Stuart Turner 5 A single cylinder engine of 2 1/4" bore and 2" stroke. It produces about 1/2 HP at 30 PSI from a water tube, wood fired boiler.
The hull is 5/16" Okume plywood on 5/4" pressure treated frames with a transom and other wooden parts of cherry from our own back yard tree. It has proven very ,satisfactory in service on local lakes in New Jersey and Eastern PA. First launched but not run November, 2021. Tuned up in 2022 and in routine use 2023.
