OTTER

OTTER’s inspiration is Philip Theil’s Escargot. She is, however, greatly modified to an “egg crate” assembly using Stitch and Glue. I had never used this method, but am SOLD!With all the plywoods used being saturated with thinned epoxy, here’s hoping for a long lasting build.... (Someone has to try things, right?)Otter has a king-size berth in the forward cabin with access to the foredeck and roof deckwith large opening, screened windows for LOTS of ventilation.A two seat dinette to port droppa down to a single berth. The galley to starboard sports a two burner propane stove and sink with 10gal fresh water with deck fill.A seat aft of the galley hides a composting toilet. All lighting is indirect LED.Otter is powered by a Suzuki 9.9, Fuel Injected 4-Stroke.
