Frode Maaseidvaag purchased this 22' Snekke launch in 1986. Svege B+Ñtbyggeri of Flekkefjord, Norway, built it in 1964. When purchased, the boat was unusable. After a five-year rebuilding and refinishing of the hull, Frode and his son Lars launched her in 1991. In February 2003, they undertook a complete restoration. Master Wooden Boat Builder Ole Johan S++rvig from Flekkefjord, Norway, who had apprenticed with Per Svege at his boat yard, came to Michigan for two weeks to provide extraordinary work, guidance, and assistance. Many friends of Frode and Lars contributed to the restoration effort. The launch, named N++kken, cruises on Lake Michigan from Pentwater, Michigan.
