LY-JA JEN

In 2002, Sal Balsamo built this Ninigret V-bottomed bassboat designed by Atkin Boats of Noroton, CT. Sal used 3/8" okoume plywood planking over white oak frames fastened with bronze screws. With a length of 22' and beam of 6'8", LY-JA JEN cruises around Long Island Sound with a 30-hp Mercury 4-stroke engine. She is named for Sal's wife and two daughters.
