LIL WOODY

Kevin Brown needed a shallow-draft, v-bottomed boat for fishing the marshy coast of Georgia, so he designed and build LIL WOODY. At 15 feet long, LIL WOODY is powered by a 55-hp outboard, and can run up to 28mph. Kevin used edge-glued strip planking on sawn frames, and spent about 400 hours on the project from October of 2006 to July of 2007. Kevin writes that he enjoyed building LIL WOODY so much, he going to build a boat for his daughter, but this time he's going to use plans.
