A-K SUNSHINE

Watch out for Greg Henzel and his two young daughters rowing around in A-K SUNSHINE on Puget Sound near their home in Gig Harbor, Washington. A-K SUNSHINE, named by the girls, is Phil Bolger/Dynamite Payson Cartopper design, which is found in Dynamite's book Instant Boatbuilding with Dynamite Payson. Greg spent about 18 months building the boat, "at a leisurely pace." She has 1/4" AC exterior plyood covered with fiberglass and epoxy on the hull.
