JUN BUG
Marc Ornstein designed and built this boat for interpretive freestyle paddling and often paddles it with the boat heeled all the way to the gunwales. It is a 13' long solo sport canoe weighing 29 pounds. It is built of bead and cove red cedar, staple-less construction, using 2 oz fiberglass sheathing and epoxy on the inside and 4 oz sheathing and epoxy on the outside. The gunwales and thwarts are white oak, and the decks are walnut.
