Haley's Torment

This canoe is based on the Laughing Loon Wee Vera plans for a 10ft canoe. I stretched the plans out to 12ft. It is a cedar strip design. The wood used is Red Cedar, Douglas Fir(one plank of quarter sawed DF accidentally got mixed in with the Cedar from the lumber yard!), Cherry, Ash, Poplar and African Blackwood! I added small waterproof compartments on the ends for dry stowage (so your wallet doesn't end up in the bottom of the bay!!, long story...). It is a really great solo paddler! A great design from Laughing Loon!
