1935 GOLD CUP Race Re-creation at Bolton Landing on Lake George, NY

-

September 17-20 an elite gathering of mahogany race boats will take to the waters of Lake George in a nostalgic tribute to a bygone era in powerboating's classic past. For the first time in over 80 years the shoreline in Bolton Landing will echo the roar of the exhausts from a fleet of Gold Cup replicas and vintage race boats. The legend of George Reis, Bolton Landing's three-time Gold Cup Winner, piloting El Lagardo, will be re-created in front of the famed Sagamore Resort.
