Staempfli Racing Single

Beautiful Swiss Staempfli Sculling Single from 1976. Classic lightweight rowing / racing shell in Spanish Cedar in near perfect original condition. As published in The WoodenBoat Magazine, #134 January/February 1997 in an article “The Call of Wooden Racing Shells”, by Daniel J Boyne. Not in the water since 1979. Two pair of original / traditional Staempfli hollow wooden oars with original black anodized riggers and attendant aluminum metal fittings. Complete with original Addidas rowing shoes and custom roof top car carrier frame. Drive away from Newton, MA. Photos Available. $5,000.
