1958 Ohlson 35'

Offered here is a beautiful 1958 Ohlson 35' sailboat that's ready for a new home.

She's a Swedish made 3/4 keel mahogany over oak stunner. I've had the boat for 5 years and have sailed her to the Channel Islands, Santa Barbara Island, Catalina 7 times and many races and day-sails.

Sails are in good condition, engine runs very well, recently spruced up the boat for the next phase of her life and shes looking better than ever!

Recent Completed Projects:

Decks have been restored and sealed 04/24

New Cabin-top paint 04/24

Haul out Sept 2019 Top & Bottom Paint - New Rudder - New Prop. Topside paint has a few chips on the starboard side but has held up well.

Has running water w/ 50gal tank new pumps installed.

Re-Powered in fall 2021 with a factory compression Atomic 4 engine

She has great bones - is very fast and steady under sail - won her class in Transpac back in the 80's and a few beer-can races not too long ago.

Notes On the Boat:

The engine is running strong with a starter, alternator, and carburetor rebuild. There's a new exhaust manifold and header as well. The boat gets the boat moving 5+ knots under the iron jenny.

She's is currently in Marina Del Rey at a nice slip, the next owner has priority on the slip if desired.

The photos of the interior are from Jan/2024. The 1st photo is from 04/18/24.

There are full bow to stern covers for the winter or when the boat will be left at the dock for extended periods.

She has is a spinnaker and wooden spin pole.

Serious interest only - no lowballers.
