1915 Stephens Brothers lake union

DEATH IN FAMILY. MUST SELL !

$35,000. John Locke commissioned Stephens Brothers Boat Yard, in Stockton, California in 1915 to build the “Alice L” after his newborn daughter. She was designed by Lee Coolidge and appears to be a prototype of the widely recognized Lake Union Dreamboats. She has had her fifth restoration.

24' Stephens raised-deck motor launch built of Western cedar on steam-bent oak frames with a wineglass stern. Original doped decks now teaked. New stem was installed by accomplished shipwrights. Inside: cast-iron stove/running water sink. She sleeps two comfortably. 22-hp Yanmar diesel. Restored in South Florida. Re-christened her LEGEND at the 2016 Palm Beach Vintage Regatta. She embodies the elegance and luxury of America’s Golden Age of Yachting. We have a photo/history book link to share. Custom trailer/foldable wood dingy and carriage. Shown in last photo.
