GRAVY

GRAVY is the first boat I’ve ever owned. I saw one of designer Berkeley Eastman’s micro tugs at the waterfront boat museum / restaurant at Disney Springs and fell in love. GRAVY is the Candu Junior model. I began construction in July 2016, and chronicled my progress on the WoodenBoat Forum. I spent a little over 475 hours on it prior to launch. It was constructed from 1/4″ and 1/2″ marine plywood, covered both sides with 6oz cloth and WEST System epoxy, then all joints filleted and taped, per the plans.
