Tames River Pulling Boat

I am offering the oprotunity to own a rare classic Tames River pulling boat. The boat was built by the famed Master Boatbuilder Mark Edwards, MBE. This was one of the last boats built in the Constables boatyard. The yard was established by a Charlie Constables, waterman and boatbuilder from lambeth. He won the prestigious Dogget's Coat and badge in 1859 and had set up a boatyard at Hampton in the 1870's. The boathouse was famous for traditional Thames Skiff and Dinghy boat building in 1872, which is possibly the oldest traditional skiff in the world. This boat was one of the last boats built in the original Constable boathouse in the early 1980s by renowned boat builder Mark Edwards. This boat has all the original parts. African mahogany on oak frames. As you can see in the pictures the boat is in good condition but needs restoration. Tames River Pulling Boat Name: Builder: Constable Boatyard England Boat: Rowboat Length 17' Built: 1980 Location: San Diego County Asking: $10,000 USD
