Chesapeake Light Craft Tandem Wherry and Skerry

The Rowing shell is a “Tandem Annapolis Wherry” set up with a single Piantadosi Row Wing. It can easily accommodate 2 row wings, but I set it up for one. It is 19’ 10” long, a 38” beam and weighs 90 lbs. It has a 650 lb payload, so it easily accommodates a rower and a passenger. The kit to build it is available for $1,935, the row wing for $1,349, and the sculling oars for $595. It has had light use and always stored inside with varnish and paint spotless. The Skerry can accommodate 3 people. It is 15’7” long, with a 54” beam, weighs 95 lbs. and has a 450 lb. payload. It has the lug rig, with reefing points. The paint and varnish are also spotless. The price for the kit is $1,825 and $1,746 for the mast and sail. There is one aluminum Trailex Trailer that will carry either boat, and lists for $1,710 new. It has all required lights and has less than 100 miles on it.
