28’ Herreshoff Rozinate Sailboat

28' Herreshoff Rozinante built in 1965. Designed by L. Francis Herreshoff (son of the renowned Nathaniel “Captain Nat” Herreshoff), she’s a double-ended, unpowered ketch steered by a single oar. Her ketch rig (two masts) offers a variety of sail combinations, allowing for balanced and comfortable sailing across a wide range of weather conditions. The Rozinante's canoe stern design -where both ends taper gracefully like a canoe hull-provides elegant handling, impressive seaworthiness, and excellent performance, especially in following seas.
