Josip built a small epoxied dinghy in 1990. His second boat, recently finished with 12 layers of paint, was designed by Ivan Ivanisevic, a boat building friend of Josip's. Josip writes that the boat is 3 meters long, 1.75 meters wide, with a depth of .65 meters. Two layers of samba veneer and a layer of mahogany veneer total to a planking thickness of 6.5 millimeters. The interior veneer beautifully accentuates the curves of the interior. He covered the outside with a layer of 'glass and epoxy, and then 12 layers of paint.
