Adirondack Guide Boat
The Adirondack Guide Boat is known to be a fast and easy rowing boat. While it tends to be tippy, this is a result of what makes it fast, its narrow waterline. The distinct flare gives it strong secondary stability.
JOSEPHINE
"The Adirondack Guideboat" by Ken and Helen Durant was the source for Bill Stark's JOSEPHINE, a 16'6" x 38" guide boat with a few modifications.

FOAM FOLLOWER

MOHICAN
George Weinbrenner started construction on this Adirondack Guide Boat as part of a WoodenBoat school class in the summer of 2001. He feels very lucky to be able to have brought MOHICAN home and finish her out. He launched her in Lake George, NY in September 2002.
