The Town Class Sloop was originally designed in 1931 and built by Pert Lowell Company in Newbury, MA. The original construction consisted of lap-strake cedar planking on oak frames. The Landing School builds these boats with epoxy-bonded marine plywood and epoxy-laminated frames.

I am offering for sale a Haven 12 1/2. I’ve been building small boats for many years. Six years ago, I took on the challenge of building this boat and it has proven to be a very rewarding experience. I have no intention of sailing the boat. I never did intend to sail it.
Would make a great lake boat or for your children, low draft. Possibly use as a tender boat for a larger craft utilizing the included sling lift.
